Born in Manizales, Colombia, Andrea graduated in Medicine and later completed a specialization in Epidemiology, followed by a master’s in Innovation Management at the University of La Sabana. As a physician, she always worked in the healthcare area, providing direct care to patients.
She joined the Angels Initiative in 2018 and has led the team in Colombia since 2021. Working at Angels has transformed her life, not only professionally, but also personally. Every patient who receives a new opportunity is the reason why this job is not just a profession, but a lifelong commitment and a mission that leaves its mark.
She finds great satisfaction in supporting health professionals linked to the initiative, traveling the country, knowing their realities and seeking the best way to achieve a real impact. Knowing that she is surrounded by an incredible team that shares the same purpose, makes every challenge worthwhile.
